The 1984 Darlington Dash Series season was a NASCAR touring season held from February 17, 1984 to September 29, 1984 composed of fourteen races. Mike Swaim won his first series championship, holding off a surprising effort by Calvin Kenley. Swaim won the title on the strength of five wins and twelve top-tens. Two-time winners during the season included defending series champ Michael Waltrip, Billy Standridge (including his first career victory), and Mike Powell. One-time winners during the year included Mickey York, Danny McClain, and first-time winner Ed Berrier.
