The 2003 Goody's Dash Series season was a NASCAR touring season held from February 9, 2003 to October 28, 2003, composed of eight races. In early summer, NASCAR announced that they would be selling the series at season's end, ending a 29-season run for the series under NASCAR sanction. The move was slightly unexpected, as the series had been recording record entries and TV deals just five years earlier. Regardless, Robert Huffman won the first NASCAR Touring championship for Toyota, finishing no worse than 6th and cruising to the title. He thus tied Dean Combs with five championships, the most in series history. Huffman won three times, 2001 champ Cam Strader took two victories, while Danny Bagwell, Jake Hobgood, Justin Hobgood, Danny Bagwell all won once.
