| BIOGRAPHY
|
| A.J. Alsup (January 17, 1976 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Silverton, CO. He competed in five Nationwide Series events in his career.
Alsup debuted in 2001, competing for his own team starting at Kentucky. Starting 28th in the field, Alsup only lasted two laps before an engine failure left him 42nd. Luckily, Alsup improved in the next three races, finishing a career-best 29th at Pikes Peak and then still running at the finish with a 32nd at Michigan and 33rd at Homestead-Miami.
Alsup's final race came in 2003, competing at New Hampshire in Fred Bickford's machine. Starting last (43rd) in the field, Alsup only lasted five laps before engine issues left him 42nd to end his career.
