BIOGRAPHY
Art Binkley (December 19, 1920 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from New Albany, IN. He competed in five Sprint Cup Series events in his career.

Binkley's debut came in 1954, when he competed at the prestigious road course at Daytona Beach. Starting 56th in the field of sixty-two, Binkley struggled mightily in the race to finish 50th.

Binkley's next race came in 1956, when he competed at another historic track, this time making laps at Martinsville. Starting 36th in the field of forty, Binkley fell a number of laps down but still emerged with a solid 24th place race.

Binkley's final three races all came during the 1957 season. It was a tough season for the driver despite some midpack finishes. He started off the year last (28th) at LeHi. But after that, Binkley slowly improved, netting a career-best 21st place finish at Langhorne and a 25th place showing at Martinsville.
