| Bill Bade is a former NASCAR driver from Redondo Beach, CA. He competed in seven Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
Bade's best year came in 1954, in his initial foray into the sport. That year, Bade competed in three races to finish 85th in the final point standings. He got his career off to a running start, qualifying 7th and finishing 10th at Gardena in his debut. But the momentum would not stay on his side, as Bade slipped to 24th at Oakland and 36th at San Mateo.
Bade did not return to the sport until late in the 1956 season, when he made an appearance back in San Mateo. It was a respectable return for the driver, starting 24th and completing all but twenty-seven laps to log a mid-pack 22nd place finish.
Bade stepped it back up to a two-race schedule the following year - 1957 - as he started his year off at Ascot for the first time. It was a solid race for the driver, completing all but sixteen laps in the race and finishing in 15th. Unfortunately, the same success could not be said for Bade when he made the trip to Sacramento for the first time, finishing 26th following an early crash.
Bade's final career race would then come during the 1958 season, when he competed at Sacramento once again. More troubles, though, took Bade out of the race as overheating left him 23rd.
