| Carl Anderson is a former NASCAR driver from Arlington, VA. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
Anderson's first race came in 1956, when Anderson debuted at New Oxford. Starting 14th in the field of seventeen, Anderson fell twenty-seven laps down but still managed to drive to a remarkable 7th place finish.
Unfortunately, things did not go so well for Anderson when he returned to New Oxford in 1957. Starting 20th in the field of twenty-eight, Anderson had early throttle woes in the race and finished a disappointing 25th.
