| BIOGRAPHY
|
| Charles Barrett (November 28, 1944 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Cleveland, GA. He competed in four Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.
All of those races came in 1973, when Barrett debuted at Atlanta. Starting last (40th) in the field, Barrett fell some twenty-six laps down but still drove to an 18th place finish. Luckily, in his next outing Barrett proved his talent. Starting 30th at Talladega, Barrett led nine laps of the event in route to a career-best 10th. Unfortunately, DNFs prevented him from doing well in his final two races at Charlotte (27th) and Atlanta (40th).
