BIOGRAPHY
Darin Brassfield (September 16, 1960 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Los Gatos, CA. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career.

All of those races came in 1989, when Brassfield debuted at Sonoma. Starting 30th in the field, Brassfield completed all but one lap in route to a solid 22nd place effort. He was able to improve at Watkins Glen, finishing a career-best 12th before rear end woes left him 30th in his final event at Richmond.

Darin is best known for his racing career with SCCA pro racing in the Trans Am series as well as the IMSA road racing series, winning the 1993 IMSA Camel GT series championship. Darin also participated in the IndyCar series in 1988 driving the #88 Lola Cosworth for races at Laguna Seca and Mid Ohio.
