| Dave Alonzo is a former NASCAR driver from Mountain View, CA. He competed in four Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
Alonzo's debut came in 1969, when he competed at Martinsville. Starting 26th in the field of forty, Alonzo had mid-race engine problems that kicked him to 22nd in the final results. 22nd is also where he would finish later in the year when he competed at Texas World.
Alonzo returned to action in 1970, competing at his local track of Riverside International Raceway. Starting 21st in the field, Alonzo fell quite a many laps down in the race but still finished 16th. That would turn out to be his best career finish, crashing to 40th at Talladega, his final career race.
