| David Blankenship is a former NASCAR driver from Moseley, VA. He competed in three Nationwide Series events in his career.
Blankenship's debut came in 1994, when he raced at Martinsville. Starting 24th in the thirty-six car field, Blankenship finished 31st after a mid-race engine failure.
Blakenship returned to action in mid-1999, racing for Team Rensi Motorsports. Blakenship turned in a solid qualifying effort in his team debut at South Boston. After starting ninth, though, Blankenship crashed his car and finished 29th. He was not able to improve with a 43rd at Pikes Peak and has not raced since.
