David Bonnett is a former NASCAR driver from Hueytown, AL, and the son of the late Neil Bonnett. In his driving career, Bonnett competed in nineteen Nationwide Series events. His career was a struggle, however, earning just one top-ten: a 9th at Volusia in his debut in 1992. Bonnett missed opportunities with good equipment and his career ended after the 1997 season.
