| Dick Burns is a former NASCAR driver from Braddock, PA. He competed in nine Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning three top-tens.
Burns' debut came in 1950, when the driver finished 18th in points. He absolutely hit the ground running, recording a 7th place finish at Canfield immediately followed by a career-best 4th place run at Vernon. But after earning a 5th place finish at Charlotte, Burns cracked the top-twenty just once more in his final four starts that year, illustrated by a last place (48th) struggle at Langhorne.
Burns waited until 1956 to compete again, making his final career start at Palm Beach. Starting 19th in the field of twenty-three, Burns was running at the finish and was rewarded with a respectable 14th place run.
