| Dick Freeman is a former NASCAR driver from Dayton, OH. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career.
Freeman's debut came in 1954, when he competed at Gardena. Despite starting 12th in the field of thirty-two, Freeman lasted just twenty laps before a radiator issue left him 31st.
Freeman's best year would be when he returned to the sport, finishing 35th in the 1959 points. There was good reason for that, as Freeman finished in the top-fifteen in all three of his stars that year. This included a career-best 13th place finish in the Daytona 500 Qualifier event, one that would lift him to 15th in the actual 500.
Freeman's final two races would be in 1960, when Freeman again returned to Daytona to try to make the Daytona 500. Despite a subpar 24th place run in the Qualifier race, Freeman transferred into the 500. But it was a disappointment for the driver, who only completed five laps and finished last (68th).
