| BIOGRAPHY
|
| Don Angel is a former NASCAR driver from Miami, FL. He competed in five Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
Angel's debut came in 1958, when he started off at Columbia. Starting 13th in the field, Angel quickly slipped to last (21st) due to an engine issue. But Angel shook that off by finishing a career-best 13th at Hillsboro before slipping again to a 27th at Martinsville.
Angel's other two races came in 1959. He started off right, recording a 13th place finish at North Wilkesboro, tying his career-best despite a lugnut issue. He also DNFed in his final race, finishing 23rd at Reading.
