BIOGRAPHY
Ernie Boost (October 12, 1928 - July 11, 1990) was a NASCAR driver from Cleveland, OH. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.

All of those races came in 1952, when Boost debuted at Canfield. Starting last (30th) in the event, Boost completed all but twenty-one laps in route to a solid 10th place outing. Although he was unable to top that finish in his other two events, Boost still recorded solid finishes of 19th place at Toledo and 14th at Hillsboro.
