| BIOGRAPHY
|
| Fred Bethune is a former NASCAR driver from Wyandotte, MI. He competed in just two Sprint Cup Series events in his career, but earned one top-ten.
Both of his races came in 1952, when Bethune debuted at Detroit. Starting 6th in the massive field, Bethune completed all but 41 laps in route to a decent 18th place finish. He was able to improve upon that drastically at Monroe, starting 10th and driving his way to a solid 9th place effort.
