BIOGRAPHY
Harold Beal is a former NASCAR driver from Portland, OR. He competed in ten Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning four top-tens.

Beal got his career off to a running start during the 1956 season, competing in five races to finish 56th in the year end points. Beal, though, had some tough luck early in the season. He finished 20th in his debut at Portland due to a bad axle and then finished 19th the next race at Eureka. But Beal was remarkably solid in his next three races, returning back to Portland to capture finishes of 4th in the June race, 6th in the August race, and 9th in the September event.

Beal's next four races would then come during the 1957 season, when Beal still ran respectably well. He only scored one top-ten: an 8th place finish at Portland in July. But Beal still ran well at his home track, tagging on finishes of 12th and 16th and then later adding on a 13th place finish in his first run at Bremerton.

Beal's final career race came much later, when the driver competed at Riverside in 1963. Starting 41st in the field of forty-four, Beal fell a number of laps down early in the race but still kept out of trouble to end his career with a respectable 20th place run.
