BIOGRAPHY
John Banks is a former NASCAR driver from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He competed in four Sprint Cup Series events in his career.

Banks debuted in 1974, running at Michigan in his own car. Starting 33rd in the thirty-six car field, that would be where he finished after rear end gear issues took him out of the race early.

His other three races came in 1975, when Banks ran at some of the larger tracks in the sport. After a dismal last (50th) place showing at Talladega Superspeedway, Banks completed 186 of the 200 laps at Michigan in route to a career-best 20th. Finally, after a career-best 31st place start at Atlanta, Banks ended his career with a 21st place effort.
