| Although Kendall Bumbera just began her racing career 2 years ago she already has the statistics of a champion in the making. In 2007 at the young age of 14 she turned from horse show competitions where she was consistently ranked in the top 10 in the world to driving racecars. With steadfast determination her goal was to drive as well as her older sister, Kristin, who was already making history on the racetrack and was well on her way to a career in NASCAR. Kendall did everything she set out to do her first season and was awarded the 2007 Rookie of the Year Award in the Houston Motorsports Park Pro Stock Division.
In 2009 a last minute decision was made to dive into a full season of competition in the toughest late model series in the state of Texas, the Texas Super Racing Series. As the only female competitor against 34 men she beat all the odds to win another Rookie of the Year title at the age of 16. She finished her first year in late models with 1 top 5, 8 top 10 finishes and 1 hard charger award.
