| Lowell Bennett is a former NASCAR driver from Neenah, WI. He competed in seven Nationwide Series events in his career.
Bennett's debut came in 2002, when he finished a career-high 80th in points. However, his first start didn't go so well, finishing 41st at Milwaukee following an early engine failure. He did vastly improve after that, closing out the year with a career-best 21st place run at ORP and a 26th at Memphis following a career-best 12th place qualifying effort.
Bennett scaled it down to a two-race schedule for the 2003 season. It was another respectable season for the underfunded driver. He recovered from his poor Milwaukee effort from a year prior to finish 28th in the event. Then he followed it up with a 24th place run back at ORP.
Unfortunately, Bennett's final two races, both in 2004, turned out to be a struggle. He crashed early in the event at ORP to finish 36th. He followed that up with another crash in his first trip to Richmond, rounding out his career with a 38th place run.
He has continued to race late models at Wisconsin International Raceway, his home track, and Slinger Super Speedway. He is actively racing as of 2009.
