Mike Swaim, Jr. (June 16, 1976 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from High Point, NC. He competed in three Nationwide Series and three Craftsman Truck Series events in his career.
Busch Series
Swaim's debut came in 1999, when he filled in for Andy Santerre in the February event at Rockingham. Starting 26th in the field of forty-three, Swaim was caught up in a mid-race crash and finished a disappointing 40th.
Swaim's other two series races came in the summer of 2001, when he drove for the upstart Woodruff Racing team. Swaim did well with the inexpierenced team, driving his way to a career-best 20th place run at Gateway and also adding on a nice 25th place run at Michigan.
Craftsman Trucks
All of Swaim's Truck Series starts came in the 1999 season, when he debuted at Martinsville. Starting 31st in the field, Swaim survived the tough track to emerge with a 20th place finish. Although that would prove to be his best series finish, Swaim also added on respectable finishes of 25th at Memphis and 24th at Pikes Peak, never failing to finish an event.
