| BIOGRAPHY
|
| Rodney Bottinger is a former NASCAR driver from Charleston, SC. He competed in three Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
All of those races came in 1964, when Bottinger debuted at Voldosta. Starting 23rd in the field, Bottinger completed just a few laps before falling out with handling woes and also finished 23rd (last). It was part of a pitiful season for Bottinger. In the eight hundred laps Bottinger was eligible to compete, Bottinger completed just ten of them, finishing a career-best 21st (last) at Spartanbrug and 24th at Nashville.
