Roy Smith (August 6, 1944 - February 26, 2004) was a NASCAR driver from Victoria, B.C., Canada and the father of racer Gary Smith. He competed in twenty-six Sprint Cup Series events in his career, racing at the West Coast tracks from 1975 to 1989. Although his limited schedule, running only the Cup races that coincided with the Winston West Series, prevented him from placing high in points, Smith still managed to earn four top-tens in his career. His best finish was a 6th at Riverside in 1982.
