| Sonny Black (May 2, 1926 - September 18, 1964) was a NASCAR driver from Forrest Park, GA. He competed in six Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens.
Black's debut came in 1951. He left a quick impression, qualifying 7th in his first series start, which came at Mobile. He ran well in the race as well, finishing a career-best 9th. He would also tag in a 10th place run later in the year at another Mobile event, but split those two races with a 17th at Weaverville and a 78th in the Southern 500 at Darlington.
Black's next start would have to wait until 1955, when he competed at Montgomery. Starting 14th in the field of twenty-four, Black fell a number of laps down and finished 13th.
The last race came in 1956, when he competed at Atlanta. Starting 27th in the field of twenty-eight, Black had another solid race by completing most of the laps and finishing 14th.
