Bandolero youth racer Jeffrey Stanton started this charity at the age of nine. While it is a year-round charity, this organization distributes hundreds of toys in the Southeast area for Christmas.
In honor of the late Modified Tour driver John Blewett, III, his family and professional colleagues have set up a St. Jude's Charity account in his honor. St. Jude's is a Children's Hosptial dedicated to helping chronically or terminally ill children receive specialized medical attention at greatly reduced costs to their family and, in some cases, no cost at all. Further more, St. Jude's has helped cure or created effective treatments for some of these tragic and rare diseases.
On August 15, 2009, a race at Wall Stadium was run in honor of Blewett and was able to raise more than $750 to this cause. However, the lofty goal ($76,000 in honor of Blewett's #76 race car) is far from complete.
