BIOGRAPHY
Tiny Benson is a former NASCAR driver from Syracuse, NY. He competed in six Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning four top-tens.

Benson's debut came in 1958, when he finished a career-high 73rd in points. He ran exceptionally well for the duration, finishing 19th in his debut at Reading and then finishing no worse than that for the rest of the year. He put up two top-tens on the year: a pair of 8ths at Toronto and Buffalo. His other run was a 16th at Rochester.

Benson's final two races came in 1959 and they werre again a success for the driver. In his return to Reading, Benson overcame his prior history to earn a career-best 7th place finish. He almost matched that in his final race, bringing his car home 10th at Trenton
