BIOGRAPHY

Tom Baldwin (March 14, 1947 - August 19, 2004) is a former NASCAR driver from Bellport, NY. He attempted one Craftsman Truck Series event in his career. He was one of the best Modified drivers in the sport and his son Tommy Baldwin, Jr. is a crew chief and owner for his own Tommy Baldwin Racing. Baldwin's lone attempted race came in 1998, when Baldwin tried unsuccessfully to make the race at Richmond. He did not attempt any more races prior to his death in 2004, when he was killed in a Modified Tour wreck at Stafford Motor Speedway. Stats
