Travis Kittleson (December 21, 1979 - ) is a part-time NASCAR driver from Merritt Island, FL. He has thus far competed in three Busch Series and six Craftsman Truck Series events in his career.
Busch Series
Kittleson's Busch debut came in 2004, when the driver competed at Memphis. Starting 31st in the field of forty-three, Kittleson spun once in the race but still recovered to a respectable 25th place finish, just one lap off the pace.
Kittleson's lone Busch race in 2005 also came at Memphis, and it almost mirrored his previous effort. Starting 23rd in the field, Kittleson again kept out of trouble for the most part and received a respectable 26th place finish.
Kittleson's last Busch effort to this point came in 2007, when Joe Gibbs Racing allowed the driver to compete for them at Gateway. Starting 23rd in the field of forty-three, Kittleson was making a charge towards the top-ten when late contact with Landon Cassill ruined his chances and left him 17th, still a career-best.
Craftsman Trucks
Kittleson's first CTS race came during the 2006 season, when Green Light Racing gave Kittleson a three-race deal. He started off very well, starting 32nd and driving to a lead-lap 16th place finish at Nashville. But Kittleson then struggled in his other two races that year, finishing 30th at Bristol and 31st at Las Vegas.
Kittleson also competed in three Craftsman Truck races in 2007. He started the year off at Morgan-Dollar Motorsports, struggling to last (36th) at Kansas and then 28th at Michigan. He also did a start-and-park effort for Xpress Motorsports at Nashville, finishing last (36th) after just one lap of competition.
