BIOGRAPHY
Curtis H. "Whitey" Brainerd is a former NASCAR driver from Monroe, CT. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten.

Both of his starts came in 1954, when Brainerd debuted at Langhorne. Starting positions in both of his races are unknown, but Brainerd drove to a solid 7th place effort. He ran well in his other race, falling just a few spots short of a top-ten with a 13th place effort at Mechanicsburg.
