The Winchester 400 is a 400-lap short-track stock car race held each fall at the Winchester Speedway, approximately ninety miles east of Indianapolis, Indiana. Held annually since 1970 (except in 2004 and 2005), the race has served as a launching point for the careers of several young drivers including former winners Rusty Wallace and Mark Martin. NASCAR stars Kyle Busch won the race in 2009 after David Stremme did so in 2008.
The 2010 Winchester 400 is set for October 17th, running as the season finale to the CRA Super Series (Northern Division) season.
