| In January 2023, our site backfilled as much of the history of this race as we have available. Results are complete for 2001-2002 and 2004-present. The race was rained out in 1996, 2009, 2017, 2019, and 2020. The track also lists the 2011 event as being rained out, but that is an error. There was also some question about the inaugural running - some contemporary literature around 2000 indiciated the inaugural race was the rained out event in 1996. However, the track has listed Tatnell as the winner since about 2002, so we are including that as a legitimate event. | |
