On 17 July 2020 The Third Turn completed compiling the history of the short-lived GP Masters series for retired Formula One drivers. While the series never awarded official points or championships, most of the motor racing media counted unofficial points using the classic Formula One points system, and considered Mansell and Cheever to be the series' champions. We have followed suit accordingly.
